Hey everyone, I’m Excited to tell you that W4CQ will be on the air for the 2021 Field Day at our Club Station, W4CQ. It will be on a limited basis. We will set up around 12 noon, and start operations at 2pm. We’ll go till 7pm on Saturday. Then, start back around 7am, till 2pm on Sunday, at which time we’ll tear down, and clean up.

We’ll be limited to 2 people in the building at a time, 1 Operator and 1 Logger. We’ll also have a “Get On The Air”, GOTA Station, Callsign WB4ETF, in memory of Fran, a Founding Member, outside for others to use. The restrooms will be available on the ground floor across from the Club room. Again, while in the Building, please wear a mask.

The GOTA Station will be a IC 706 in a Go Box, made by Joe, KJ4QFV, tnx Joe..! Inside the Club Station will be a IC 7300, with a Wire and Beam antennas. The GOTA station will have some kind of Vertical or Wire strung up along the fence. Any suggestions?? At some time we’ll order pizza and drinks for Club Members and visitors. You must sign up to operate in the Club Station. Masks are required while in the Salvation Army’s Building and Club Room. Outside, masks are up to each individual’s personal discretion.

Click here to sign up.  Please add your callsign after your last name.  See you at Field Day. Stay safe, 73 Jeff KA4WYC
