Field Day 2014W4CQ Amateur Radio Club will conduct ARRL Field Day activities on Saturday June 27, 2015 at the Salvation Army Division Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. Field Day is a 24 hour event conducted each year during the last weekend in June for ham radio operators. The goal of the event is to help hams develop and hone skills needed for emergency communications and disaster preparedness and to promote amateur radio to the general public.

The club will operate 4 stations and a GOTA ( Get On The Air ) station during the event. The following member are scheduled to operate:

The operating times will vary. Day time is wide open There will be operators scheduled throughout the night

ARRL Field Day 2015 kicks off SATURDAY at 2pm (1400 hours local) 1800 hours UTC and concludes SUNDAY at 5pm (1900 hours local) 2100 UTC. The event is free to attend and will be open to the public from 2:00 to 7:00 PM EDT Saturday. For details and directions, download the W4CQ Field Day 2015 Flyer.
