We will be having an open house at the CARC radio room every Thursday at about 7:30 pm ET. It is an informal open house where anyone who wants to drop in can do so and operate the station or just shoot the bull. We also open it up after the business meetings. Talk-in will be on the 147.060 (-0.600) repeater. Bring a friend. Click here for a map and directions to the club headquarters.
You are invited to check in with operators on the Metrolina 2 Meter Emergency Net!
The Metrolina 2 Meter Emergency Net meets each evening 365 days a year at 9:00 PM ET on 146.94 (backups 145.29 or 146.52 simplex). Stay around after the formal check-in for the rag chew session and get to know your fellow hams in the Charlotte metro area.
Dues for 2014 need to be paid by January 31. If you’ve already paid your dues, THANKS! If not, please fill out the printable application for membership and send it in right away to get your membership status up to date. Dues are only $20 per year for an individual and $30 for an entire family! Remember, YOU are an integral part of the club and your dues permit us to finance our activities. We have several recurring bills (liability insurance, autopatch phone, etc.) that are paid for entirely by the club dues. Don’t keep putting it off!
